a learning curve

conflicting emotions

This past week has seen my little world thrown into a bit of a turmoil, someone has come back into my life, albeit peripherally, from my past, when I know in my heart the past is where they belong. But, because other people very close to me are involved I am going to have to deal with my conflicting emotions, doubts and fears and hope that this time, for them at least, my past can be part of their future, without getting involved in mine at all.

Its so hard trying to be supportive and positive for them whilst trying to deal with my  own feelings about this, I hope I succeed in doing both while our paths of past and present cross. I have to remember, this is about them, not me
