to fake it or bake it?
I had managed to catch a bit of sun which developed into a nice tan but unfortunately I also had the strap marks and white legs as its just really too hot to sit in. The girls in my famiy tend to use spray tans a lot and a few sessions on the sunbeds. I’m ok with the sprays but get a bit fed up of having to have them done every week…….and the mess! I’m not a fan of sunbeds either so I have been looking for an alternative. My second eldest daughter Zoe suggested Garnier summerbody as she had bought that for my 14 year old grandaughter PrettyLady.
Summerbody is a moisturiser with a hint of tanning cream. I usually end up looking like an umpalumpa or just really streaky when using fake tans so I was a bit fearful to try this type.
The lotion is really easy to apply and smells deliciously of apricots, it does take a while to be absorbed, don’t be tempted to rub it in too much, like i did or you will end up streaky. The lotion comes in two strengths, light or dark, I opted, rightly or wrongly, for the darker one. The moisturising side of this lotion has really made my skin feel very soft and the colour comes out within hours and is really rather nice and improves the appereance of my skin.
I have had a few spots where I’ve missed but this is easily remedied by applying more cream to the white bits only. I have been putting it on every day for the last few days and I’m really pleased with the result. Though I think next time I might try the lighter shade.
What do you do to give yourself a bit of summer glow?
i have received nopayment of free goods for this review, I just like the product and decided to recommend it to my friends.
