a learning curve

Sweet Potatoe Vine

I have been looking for quick growing, cheap options for hanging baskets and fence covering and came across this today. I have some in the cupboard so will be sacrificing my lunch to see if I can grow these amazing looking vines for my garden. You have to be careful though as, if successuful, they can apparently take over and your garden/house will end up like something out of The day of the Triffids haha. I willpost my progress but would love to hear from anyone who has already tried this.

Any other suggestions for cheap and cheerful planting will be gratefully received!
