Has common sense gone out the window?
Out and about in this amazing weather I have again noticed this year that parents place their babies straight onto the material of the buggy, I find this quite extraordinary as, especially in this heat, that material cannot be comfy.
Of course, when my kids were babies we didn’t have any of these types of buggies, we had ‘proper’ prams with mattresses and lovely cool cotton sheets for the summer and snuggly warm flannelette ones for the winter. However, when my grandaughter was still in her buggy only a couple of years ago I still put a cotton crib or cot sheet in the buggy for her to lay on, esoecially in this weather. I’m sure it must be so much cooler and less irritating to a babies skin.
What are your thoughts on the matter?
