wide awake at daft o’clock
For the last two years now my underactive thyroid has been giving me some trouble, but the worst effects are the weight gain, the aches and pains, the burning up feeling, but most if all this total exhaustion.
So off I toddles to the doc’s to get popped as little legs calls it, and sits back…well lays prone if truth be told, to await the results.
Tsh high, not a good sign so up goes the meds, after 6 weeks, two incredible migraine type headaches and more sleepless nights, morning stiffness to the point i have to roll out of bed by gripping the edge of the mattress and heaving myself over, aches, pains and exhaustion that has slightly improved, back to the doc’s I trundles, this time he had trouble locating a vein, I have never had that problem in the twenty years Ihave been having these tests done, so little alarm bells start ringing
I now have to wait until the beginnng of the week for the results, I feel ill still so I’m thinking the meds will go up again…….
i just wish I could find a doctor who understands the condition fully, And is willing to do the other blood tests that wiould help me manage this condition properly, I am saving up myself to have these done privately in the hope that my Doctor will act on them if needed…….not holding my breath on that one though!
