a learning curve

Rod Stewart

Stayed up to watch my dream on tv on Sunday night and how glad am I that I did! This man has aged incredibly well ( any intervention? ) and still sends chills up and down my spine with that voice of his. I have been a little disappointed that his last few albums have been covers, but I guess its something he felt he had to do soley to satisfy a need in himself….nowt wrong with that I say, but it didn’t make me rush out and buy the cd’s. I was excited, however, to hear that he is to release a new album next year, with 11 new tracks that he has written. He played one on Sunday night which tells the story of his stuggle and his determination in the early years. Its true Rod style, catchy and with singalong ability! Loved it and can’t wait for the album release! I’m also debating whether to go see him in concert this year, I should have gone when he played my home town last year but didn’t due to health issues. So its a serious consideration for this year.
