May I introduce my grandaughter ‘Little Legs’
This is my 4 year old grandaughter Tier, who I am bringing up. She wears me out each day but brings me such joy and laughter, some of the things she comes out with astound me.
This photo was taken last year, she had that snail perched on her finger or her hand for most of the day showing it around the garden, her wendy house and our home, when it came to bedtime I told her the snail would have to go back outside to find his own bed, and left her sat on the sofa while I went for her pj’s, only to find she had evicted the poor snail out of its shell and laid it on the sofa to sleep
All summer I was finding random snails in the bedrooms, her toybox, the bathroom, kitchen and lounge, though I guess it could be worse, she has just expressed a liking for………….ELEPHANTS. hahaaa

What beautiful little girl, she is very lucky to have you. I can’t believe I have only just discovered your blog. I know it’s early days but you write so beautifully I could read more and more.
Big bird loves snails too, have a look on my posts last year she was training them in my kitchen. When it came to bedtime she put them in a glass bowl with some food and cling film and put them under her bed covers, until I realised that is and evicted them :-). Like you say it could be worse …. Elephants (mad me chuckle)

Yes she keeps me on my toes thats for sure………wonder about the caring bit? I suppose she is, she didn’t realise she had killed it by pulling it out of its shell, now when I found the 4 snails in my freezer ‘cos the sun is shining its too hot for them’ she said………..escargot anyone?
